YWCA Residence Lower Baggot Street, Dublin
We are centrally situated on Baggot Street near the heart of Dublin City.
The residence is within easy walking distance of the City Centre, St. Stephen's Green and Trinity College .
We are within easy reach of many different bus routes and the no.10 bus route runs directly past the residence while the nearest
DART station is only a 10 minute walk away.
The residence consists of two linked buildings and can accommodate up to 40 people. We have been providing affordable
accommodation for over 80 years and during the past few years, the buildings have been completely rebuilt or renovated.
We provide twin roomed, en-suite accommodation and students can look forward to a warm and friendly atmosphere in a secure and
caring environment.
The hostel is closed for Christmas and the New Year.
How much does it cost?
The cost is €200* per person per week with payments to be made in four-weekly installments, in advance.
What’s included in the cost?
This cost includes Part Board i.e. Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal, and access to Tea/Coffee making facilities. It also includes
the supply of Bed Linen, and Heating and Electricity charges.
What else is there?
Other facilities include a Study Room and a TV / Common Room. Laundry facilities are available for the use of students,
for a small charge.
Is there a deposit required?
Yes, a Booking / Cancellation / Damage Deposit of €250 is required to secure a booking. This deposit will be refunded on departure,
less any Breakages/Damages costs, if any.

How do I apply?
Applications for accommodation must be received on the official accommodation Application Form. The Accommodation is allocated on a
'First Come, First Served' basis. However, the YWCA reserves the right to refuse accommodation.
